Insides and outsides of window frames

Basically, our dilemma is that most of the outside of our house will be clad in stained timber (radial sawn battens and shadowclad), with timber framed windows (most likely hoop pine). We're throwing in a bit of colourbond for good measure, but don't know what colour. Our windows on the front of the house are a design feature (round!) so they have to be treated with respect.
