Eastern Greek Islands?

This is our second trip to Greece after seeing Athens, Mykonos, Naxos, Santorini, and Crete. We have our tickets from the states to Athens and then out to Rhodes. Now it is the experts help to give me ideas on how and where to spend our next 15 days. We enjoyed the ferries and if we ever again find the schedules for the summer, that would help. We tentatively have wanted to go into Turkey and even stay a day or two. Our main enjoyments of Greece are the people, their culture, and their history. Sometimes, I admit, we are not real heavy into the history, but really just enjoy the daily relaxed lifestyle. Oh yes, we are travelers, not tourists, but have left our early youth behind us. Wait a second, I wake up feeling thirty. Try a young sixty.
