How much should I expect to spend in Greece?

My husband and I are flying into Rome, Italy in May 2011 then to Greece for 20 days total. We expect to stay in Greece for about 13 days. I'm not a big spender- probably won't spend money on souvenirs, but I do love to eat and see tourist attractions! Our itinerary would be something like: Rios, Lefkada, Athens, Santorini (suggestions provided by a Greek woman we met). Also would love any thoughts on the Rail Pass. Is it worth it? I understand there's hassle and you still have to purchase your seat when you decide on traveling to another location. Any thoughts, experience, or advice is much appreciated. We are not experienced travelers but this is my dream vacation! Thanks!
